Virtual Academy

Always at the forefront of innovation, Granada Hills Charter High School is now offering virtual enrollment through the Kirk Douglas Academy. Its modern computer supported collaborative model allows for flexible schedules and self-paced course work, while still providing a rigorous, engaging, and interactive curriculum with highly qualified NCLB credentialed teachers, academic coaches and counseling services.

Club Rush 2010: October 1, 2010

If students would like to join a club, the opportunity is right around the corner. The school’s annual Club Rush takes place on October 1st via an extended lunch hour wherein students can find other students who share their same interests and seek out clubs that fit their personal needs. We look forward to seeing as many students as possible contributing to the Granada community.

Public School Choice Updates

As previously announced in school updates, GHCHS submitted its intent to LAUSD this past July to run Valley Region High School #4 (VRHS#4), a new school located at 10445 Balboa Boulevard in Granada Hills. VRHS#4 is a 45-classroom high school being built to serve 1,215 students. Granada has been informally soliciting input from our community as to what they would like in the new school.
