-- This past weekend, Granada's robotics team, the Robodox, traveled to Pasadena, CA to compete in the Southern California State Championships. Struggling throughout the day, 599A triumphed in the end, bringing home the state Sportsmanship award and becoming the southern California State Programming Champions, qualifying for World Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. Keep up the good work, go dox!
-- This past weekend, Granada's robotics team, the Robodox, took three robots to compete at Crespi Carmelite High School's 2nd annual VEX tournament. After a shakey start,599A made it to quarterfinals while 599B made it to semifinals. 599A brought home the prestigious excellence award, qualifying for the next tier and heading to the southern California state championship along with 599D on February 14.

The team's three robots — 599A, B, and C — performed well throughout the competition, with 599D pushing into finals, creating the second seed alliance. -- This past Saturday, Granada's Robotics team, the Robodox, traveled to Viewpoint High School in Calabasas, California, to compete in the Clash of the Canyons VEX tournament. The Dox entered three teams in the tournament; 599A, 599B, and 599D. After a long day of qualification matches, 599D was ranked third, choosing teams 628A and 599B to form the third seed alliance for elimination rounds. The Dox made it to semifinals, putting up a hard fight and losing by only one point. The team hopes to show their strengths again at the Victory in the Valley VEX tournament at Reseda High School on November 8. Keep up the good work. Go Dox!
-- This past weekend, Granada's robotics team, the Robodox, competed in the FRC Fall Classic at Valencia High School in Placentia, CA. The team performed at their best throughout the weekend, winning the Spirit Award for team moral and for graciously helping other teams. The dox also brought home the Fall Classic Championship award for Saturday's tournament, and the Fall Classic Finalists award for Sunday's tournament. Keep up the good work, go DOX!

-- This past weekend Granada's robotics team, The Robodox, traveled to Davis, CA to compete in the FRC Sacramento Regional. The 'Dox played great matches and played against very tough competition. After a day and a half of qualification matches, the 'Dox made it to semifinals before losing to the first seed alliance. Although they didn't come home with a Regional Finalist award, they did win the prestigious Gracious Professionalism award for the 12th time. Keep up the good work! Go 'Dox!
-- This past weekend, Granada's Robotics team, the Robodox, traveled to Colton, CA to compete in the Inland Empire FRC Regional. With exceptional play throughout the matches, the Robodox made it all the way to the final rounds! However, the team didn't return empty handed. They came back with a trophy marking their status as Regional Finalists and the Excellence in Engineering Award, for being the best engineered robot at the competition. Go 'Dox!

Two of their robots had made it to quarterfinals and one of those two earned the Create Award for their impressive robot. A third robot made it to the semifinals, but earned the Excellence Award, the highest award a team can win that also qualifies a team for the State Championship. Go 'Dox!
-- Help support Granada's Robotics team this Saturday! They will be hosting a competition in both of the gyms and their annual Open House in Highlander Hall. Come play with premade robots and cheer on your Robotics team! This event is open to the public for free, so come on down, support the Robodox, and show the Granada spirit! -- This past Saturday Granada's robotics team, the Robodox, hosted the LA VEX Regionals at CSUN. Over 70 teams competed, coming from Northern California, Arizona, and as far away as Great Britain! All of Granada's robots made it to the final rounds in their division and the Granada super-alliance, 599A and 599D, won the title of tournament champions! Granada also received the events highest honor - the VEX Excellence Award. Both of these Robodox robots are now headed for the world championship in April. Congratulations! GO DOX!
-- This past Saturday, Granada's Robotics Team, the Robodox hosted their annual VEX Competition and Robotics Open House here on campus. Three Granada teams entered the tournament while many volunteers, including Granada students, parents AND teachers made the event run smoothly from start to finish. Robodox A and D Teams made it to the semifinals, facing off in an intense Granada versus Granada match. D Team went on to win the competition, with a perfect 12 win no loss record. The judges also awarded the Robodox the prestigious Design Award. Congratulations to the Robodox D Team for earning a chance to compete in the VEX World Championship in April in Anaheim! Go 'Dox!

-- This past weekend the Granada Hills Charter High School Robotics Team, the Robodox, competed in the VEX World Championship in Anaheim, California. Competing with over 400 teams from all over the world, the Robodox braved fierce competition and made it to the quarterfinals. GO DOX!
-- This past weekend, ROBODOX attended the FIRST Los Angeles Regional Competition at the Long Beach Arena. Competing with 65 other robots throughout California and as far as Las Vegas, Chile, and Brazil, the Robodox ranked 6th in the competition and competed in the semi-finals. Two of its members received recognition for their outstanding contribution to Robotics, their community, and their school. Jade Brooks, received a $1000 scholarship from the Southern California Robotics Regional Forum and Priyana Hannan received the FIRST Los Angeles Regional Dean's List award and further qualifies as a FIRST Dean's List finalist. -- This past Saturday, Granada's Robotics team, the Robodox, turned in an incredible performance at the Golden State VEX Robotics Championship. The Robodox received the Excellence Award, the highest award given for best overall robot and team performance. The 'Dox were also Driver Skill and Programming Skills Challenge Champions. To top everything off, the Robodox have set a new WORLD RECORD in the Programming Skills Challenge! The Robodox VEX team will now move on to the World Championships in Anaheim in April. -- This past Saturday, Granada's Robotics team, the Robodox, hosted the Los Angeles VEX Robotics Championship at Cal State, Northridge. Over seventy teams came out to compete at the event, some from as far away as the United Kingdom. The Robodox had all four of their teams qualify for the quarter-finals and two their robots went on to the semi-finals. Additionally, "Robodox A" were the Robot Skills Champions and "Robodox D" won the Create Award for their innovative design. A fantastic end to our VEX Robotics season. GO DOX!

The Robodox dominated the competition winning the tournament with two of their robots, 599 A and 599 D, and winning the Design award as a team.
